The Centre Arrupe pour la Recherche et la Formation (CARF) is an ASBL of the Compagnie de Jésus founded in Lubumbashi in 2014 based on the long experience in economic studies, sociocultural and political research and publications of the Centre de recherche pour l'action sociale (CEPAS) in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Its interventions are focused on the socio-economic development of Katanga, one of the richest provinces in mineral resources, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, through the promotion of good governance of mineral resources through its research, conferences, seminars, publications and support, but also the implementation of projects with visible impact for the benefit of the people.
It is in this context that CARF publishes these terms of reference with a view to recruiting a consultant whose objective will be to produce an informational and didactic documentary film on the course of the mining cooperative CMDS/KAPATA.
