Call for tenders: Three drillings in the villages AMATO, DAVID and ABELO about 45 Km on the road LUBUMBASHI-KASOMENO, in the province of HAUT-KATANGA

The Arrupe Centre for Research and Formation (CARF) is an ASBL of the Society of Jesus founded in Lubumbashi in 2014. Its interventions focus on the socio-economic development of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly in the provinces of Haut-Katanga and Lualaba, through the promotion of good governance of mineral resources through its research, conferences, seminars and publications, as well as the implementation of projects with visible impact for the benefit of the people.

In this context, CARF publishes this Call for Bids, which will be selected on the basis of an evaluation based on defined criteria. The work will consist of:

  1. Conduct three boreholes in the villages AMATO, DAVID and ABELO about 45 Km on the road LUBUMBASHI-KASOMENO, in the province of HAUT-KATANGA;
  2. To equip these drillings with reliable and sustainable solar power sources;
  3. Install 2 tanks of at least 5000 l on solid metal supports and a safety device for each borehole;
  4. Install at least 5-6 water distribution valves at each borehole;
  5. Build cleanliness structures around each borehole.

The successful bidder is expected to complete the Work within 45 days of the award of the contract. A potential bidder seeking clarification on the tender package shall notify the CARF in writing to the CARF address indicated in the tender notice. The CARF will respond to any requests for clarifications received within the 5-day period prior to the deadline for submission of tenders. Copies of the CARF response will be sent to all those who purchased the tender package, including a description of the investigation, but without identifying the author, not later than (5 days) before the date of submission of the tenders.
