The Centre Arrupe pour la Recherche et la Formation (CARF) has the pleasure to announce the official presentation of the new encyclical « Magnifica Humanitas », which will take place on Friday 12 June 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00, at its premises in Lubumbashi.
This encyclical, whose title means « Beautiful Humanity » In Latin, offers a profound reflection on the dignity of the human person, social justice and Christian hope in the face of contemporary challenges: poverty, inequality, ecological crisis and the quest for meaning.
The conference will be moderated by Father Toussaint Kafarhire, S.J. , Director General of CARF, whose expertise in theology, political science and social ethics helps inform the major issues of our time.
Rendez-vous is given to all those who wish to deepen their understanding of the Church's social doctrine and its relevance in a world in profound change.
